Memorial Day Observance
We will be in Iran on the US Memorial Day. We have gotten positive feed back from our Iranian contacts and from US veterans about having some sort of commemoration of Iranian veterans on that day. We are not sure what form this should take. While we are relying heavily on our Iranian contacts to be sure it has the right tone in Iran, we would also like your suggestions and ideas

ReplyDeletePlease let our Iranian friends know that there are real Americans who value American ideals and condemn American actions in 1953 with the overthrow of Prime Minister Mossadeq and condemn America's siding with Saddam Hussein, the aggressor, in the Iran Iraq war.
You may not agree, but tell them there are Americans who stand against American Fascist Oligarchs and will fight them by whatever means necessary. Iran and real Americans have a common enemy.
Note - I will fight the corruption of our domestic enemy by peaceful means unless they again resort to violent means such as the assassination of Obama or war with Iran.
